So, I'm drinking cider for Australia Day eve and how good is this? 4 ciders and a free glass for $10.90 from Dan Murphy's! I might even try the pear cider, even though it's the devil's fruit :/

So I just received all my beautiful OPI polishes, wow - did I buy a few!! Love these polishes, and at $7 each with free postage from Hawaii, who could say no? Colour names to come later :)

So, once all the house basics are bought, one can then purchase frivolous things such as Tinkerbell Christmas tree stars, seafood plates and cake serving sets for their future wedding!

Sometimes when feeling like crap, there's nothing better than eating carbs. Or creamy carbs. Or pancetta and roasted field mushroom carbonara with freshly grated parmesan and cracked pepper!

Tuesday night's alright for fighting

Today has been a hard day. After a conversation that took a bad turn last night, I wasn't able to relax or sleep until after midnight. After then I woke up on less than 6 hours sleep with a headache (possible migraine), stomach ache and sore buns. Then I've been a stress-head over financials and also the little things. You know, the things you're not meant to stress over?

I feel so tired and my head isn't in the right space today... Bring on lunch today! Need food :\

OPI

If there was any other nail polish I liked almost as much as I love OPI, it would be Revlon. But I'm not talking about them!

Due to my shopping habit & reading d the Vogue Forums, I first discovered OPI in 2007. Their colours are so beautiful & the funny names are always a bonus when it comes to looking!

My problem with buying them is I'd have to buy them from OS in bulk and buy more than I need, or go to David Jones and pay $20 each!

Technology, or - why I spend too much money :)

So today, I found out today that Sony have their own tablet, and me gusta, big time.

Me gusta :D

When I'm not being so budget conscious, I would like to get one. I've always been a bit of a Sony fangirl, but the price is better than the iPad 2 and it looks more ergonomically friendly!

Post-Christmas Sales

So in the spirit of online shopping and sales (or, how items sourced overseas are cheaper), package 1 of 2 arrived from Amazon UK today. Bought on the 26th of December, received on the 3rd of January with free shipping, this parcel has travelled through Europe, the US and Australia to get to me!

Can't wait to add these to my collections :D

Baby Shower

Off to a baby shower for a colleague today. Just after Christmas I'm so tapped out for ideas so I ended up making a useful basket with things the new Mum will need! And is this card not the sweetest thing you've ever seen! Congrats, K!!

New Year's Resolutions

Welp, this is what I resolve for this year:

1. Start and maintain a blog
2. Get to 5000 tweets on Twitter
3. Lose the horrible weight I've been carrying for so long
4. Save, save, save!
5. Have Christmas at my own house
6. Wear makeup more often and look after my appearance in general
7. Train for the City to Bay in September
8. Learn to crochet


That's all for now, will have to check back through the year to make sure I'm on the right track!

Best way to end New Year's day? Indian takeaway from Mr India at Old Reynella. Their samosas and naan are amazing, and this is the chicken korma w/ garlic naan. Yumbo!
